Description

This meeting of the International Network "The Topological Spectrum of General Point Patterns" gathers experts in different fields who have some connection with aperiodic order. The topics include: Semigroup theory, in particular the Ellis semigroup, and the application of this theory to the study of tilings. Number theory, diophantine approximation and its role in understanding aperiodic order. Dynamical systems, in particular almost automorphic dynamical systems (just beyond equicontinuity). Geometry and topology and how they may be used to describe aperiodic order.
